"Happy to meet , sorry to part, happy we meet again."
Hi all, it has begun to sink in. Sadly but inevitably. Wispa was the absolute boss of our property -- the female who ran the girl dog pack and made everything work seamlessly. You never know what you have till you have lost it and I have to tell you, that losing Wispa, head of a pack of 11 adult females, was a revelation. When she went to the vet -- and didn't come back -- suddenly no one knew the rules. Where was Wispa who set the rules? If she wasn't there -- for whatever reason -- and whippets don't have a lot of control of reason -- then who was in control of the pack? And what were / are the rules? It has taken till now for dogs like Wispa`s daughter Edith to figure out she is not there any more and attempt to assert their dominance. And along with Edith we have had Avalonia Barbados (Fox) a very strong, dominant bitch, come forward with her bossiness. A couple of the young girls -- we have three -- have expressed their immature expressions of interest but A. Barbados (call name Fox) and Wispa`s daughter Edith seem to have decided that it is a tossup for now, but one of them will in future, control the pack.chelynnah said:Roy and Mark so sorry to hear about Glen
Lanny, sorry about Wispa. Hopefully they're keeping each other company and playing lots of tag games together.
