~Helen~ has very kindly offered to look after a Frequently Asked Questions forum to try and pull together some of the very good information that we frequently see in K9 threads.

There's a lot of information in past threads and Helen is going to try to keep the FAQ forum as the first port of call for anyone who has a question - rather than posting the same questions again.

Only Moderators can start new threads in the FAQ forum - but if you think there is a previous thread on K9 that warrants inclusion in the FAQ then please PM Helen with the details.

Yeah an excellent idea! Well done Helen for looking after it

Crate training is a must, along with dog insurance!

Thanks everyone! I've made a start, and I'll obviously be adding to the forum over the next few days and weeks, or making changes if something's not quite working... so contributions welcome (especially if you can send me the relevent thread url too  )

Helen,

This is a brilliant idea and thanks for looking after it. I spend ages looking for tips that I've previously read but I didn't know I needed, till I needed them (if you get what I mean)

Read this title as new fag forum. :b

Sounds like a fair bit of work involved in setting this one up Helen. Good idea. It's going to be invaluable.

Sounds great Helen, what a good idea.

Me too   I thought I'd pop in and see if it was about tips on how to give up  :b

An FAQ forum sounds equally good though

Brill idea  All the very best :luck: Helen :))

Helen you are doing an amazing job. Well done, I'm not sure how you have the patience to trawl through all those posts, I have to say you've really covered most things. One more thing which helped me IMMENSELY was the question I asked about introducing a new puppy. (I think it was called will Archie ever like Fynn?). i was so worried and people like Scott Frodsham, REALLY helped with their comments about leaving them to it etc (I'm sure there were loads of other people too), also Janis needing reassurance could go under the same topic. (You never know, you might find it useful to read up on that subject to)

So did I and I'm Canadian so you can imagine what I thought the topic would be about! (Wow are you guys liberal!) (w00t)

LOL

Sorry Helen .... I didnt know you were doing it..... till you'd done it.   Great idea.

Here's one Helen,

What to do if your dog accidently swallows something it shouldn't??!!

Hi Helen, I just like to say THAN YOU for all your work! I have read some of them, and I found them very informative. I will read the rest when I have more time.
