He's lookin' good Darc. I love the one of him sitting on the settee. Lovely expression in his eyes.

He doesn't look all legs anymore. Guess that he grew into them. Big boy!

He's looking lovely Darc. It looks like Fletcher and Kaos are going to be in the same weight group then :D We'll never be able to tell them apart!

What great family photos Darcia :huggles: Fletch looks gorgeous  & what a lovely shiny coat hes got

Havent seen you for a while, hope you Rob & hounds are keeping well

Thanks Caz (& Dusilla, Barbara, Hannah and Judy :D ), We have not really been anywhere yet as we have three boys out injured, have just been club racing and concentrating on getting Fletch through his trials. People keep asking about Fletch's shiny coat, I think it must be the sardines in oil that he has! He is a handsome chap - even if I say so myself

Rob and the boys are fine (although abit fed up I think) it is hard when you look forward to the beginning of the season and have a new pup running only to have three injuries in three weeks starting the week before the first open :( Hopefully we will have better luck later on in the season.

If it wasn't for the Swindon Robins Speedway Team........ (I know that this is a board about dogs but I can't resist putting on a picture of me with the team when I was joint manager for the night - this is specially for June & Barbara :- " )

Photo kindly taken by Les Aubrey official Swindon track photographer.

(I know, I am sad am I not!)

Ah the reason for the attraction to Speedway becomes all too clear now Darc.

No comment

Don't knock it until you have tried it! Men in leathers, powerful machines, the smell of methanol, the excitement and speed of the racing with no brakes and a winning team - heaven :)

Come along to Glos on Sunday and you will almost get a repeat performance....

without the leathers

without the power

without the methanol

without the speed

well, Ok, you end up with Rob riding around on the moped, but it is still quite a site  (Bless)

What do you mean Darc, Rob's a demon on that thing!

Looking forward to tomorrow, and Fletch being passed as a grown up racing dog.

See you there!

Wow Darc that's almost too good an offer to pass up.

But unfortunately we are lure coursing in Warwickshire tomorrow. Today. I'd better to get to bed or I won't get up in the morning.

Have a good day tomorrow.

Sorry to hear you got 3 injured :( no surprising they are fed up :( woooo the speedway brought back some good memories :) Martin piddock was one of my heroes down here in our neck of the woods{a lot before your time) we always had to stand on the bend so we got splatterd  ahhh those were the days  anyway all the best with your pup  & hope the other 3 are soon up & running :huggles:

Fletch passed his clearing trials today (so we do have some good luck  ) Many thanks to June & Steve for lending us Sweep and Nibble and for everyone at Glos for helping us out. Also well done to Jess (& owner Steve) who also passed her clearing trials today aswell :D  :D

Caz - we avoid the corners, don't like shale in the face :p We have to stand opposite the start line so that we can see how they gate (I am always tempted to say trap!)

We are hoping to come along to the Champs next week to watch, so see you there and you can tell me more about Martin Piddock (found another closet speedway fan today, so there are quite a few of us out there!)

Barbara - sorry that you missed it (hope that you had a good day lure coursing), Rob didn't last long on the bike as it ran out of petrol after about five trials!!!

A big WELL~DONE  Fletch  what a clever boy !!!!!!

Congrats that Fletch boy.

We had a lovely day lure coursing :D and a horrible drive home. :(

Five trials is that how long Rob lasted. Pretty pathetic I think. Lack of petrol is a poor excuse.

Well done getting Fletch & Jess cleared.

Glad to see your still alive this morning Barbara.

>Glad to see your still alive this morning Barbara.

:) I think that we can say that is motorcycle action that I don't ever want to see again.

Yes, Congratulations Fletch and Jess - both were little stars. Just what you want from pups, both ran cleanly from the beginning, and you could see improvement with every run.

Good luck with Fletch, Darc and Rob :luck:

Good luck with Jess, Steve and Andrea :luck: - we will watch their progress.

More good news - Tyler has been given the all clear from the vets and can start running again immediately
