Wow! Thats great. A lot better than you were expecting wasn't it ? We look forward to seeing him run soon.

Yes, we were VERY pleased (and very surprised) when we visited the vets yesterday - but the x-rays clearly showed that everything had set and was OK :D - still a nasty looking lump - which he will have for life now :( but he is totally sound (which to be fair he always has been - he has never suffered from any lameness or seemed to have been in any pain from it) and can get back to enjoying his running - he has been wound up like a tight spring recently  as he wasn't even allowed a free run. Ross can also start trialling again now as his muscles seem to be healing well - double :D :D

Won't be long before you have FOUR dogs to race :D

The "old git" has decided to stay at home - but I will be there to cheer on the boys & girls, although I must admit I was abit undecided as I thought that it will be awful to be there with no runners :( I will hopefully have to make do with cheering on one of my buddies boys or girls to victory - there are a few half coats out there who could do with getting there other halfs :D So Good luck all :luck: (especially to the Glos dogs :luck: :luck: )

and thanks to the kind words from everyone - looking forward to being back in the racing. (will only be 4 Judy as Iffy won't be running competitively again :( ) and of course, we have to wait until the end of June before Fletch can run!

Devastated to let friends know the sad news that the beautiful Savernake Tigermoth (Gypsy) had to be put to sleep yesterday. She was Fletch's Auntie (sister to my own Duncton Spirit and Duncton Legacy) and was only six.

Go with love Gyp

Hope this brings some comfort, it did to me!

The Rainbow Bridge.

There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills, and vallyes with lush green grass. Whenever a beloved pet dies, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There is always food and water and warm spring weather so all our special friends can run and play together. All the animals who had become ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who are hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them and times gone by. There is only one thing missing, they are not with their special person who loved them on earth and who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches, the ears come up, the bright eyes are intent, the body quivers. Then this one suddenly runs from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never ever absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never, again to be seperated. lol shazxxx

Thats awful news. She was a really beautiful dog too. Angie & Mick must be so upset. What was wrong with her ?

RIP Gypsy.
