:D   Sounds like the sayings true.......... of every litter of solo pups 75% are Males
No picutres yet, Harry is doing fine. Surprised that he is fawn with white trim, both parent are brindles !!!

That is strange, as brindle is supposed to be recessive, so his genotype should be brindle if both parents are brindles. He couldn't just be very lightly marked? I'd be on the lookout for signs of any stripe(s) as he grows.

He looks very sweet, no matter what colour he turns out to be.

I thought brindle was dominant over fawn - two brindles carrying fawn genes might have fawn pups but two fawns wouldn't have brindle pups??

of course, there are many colours and colour is a mixed inheritence, not straight dominant/recessive

Oh, he is lovely  how scrummy does he look

Yes, brindle is dominant over fawn. There's an excellent page about the inheritance of colours (in greyhounds but applicable also to whippets): Colour Inheritance In The Greyhound

Harry is lovely

Harry is looking exquisite

:) The little man had his second jab on thursday, so will be off to ringcraft next week.

Have tried him in the garden but he thought it would be fun to bounce (w00t)
