I will be the proud owner of a Golden Retriever puppy in 2 weeks time, and when I collect her from the breeder she will be 7 weeks old.
However I am a bit confused about whether or not I can take her into the garden, or does she have to be 8 weeks old or 12 weeks old before I can do this.
Any advice on this would be most welcome.
Thank you

Unless you have a problem with rats or unvaccinated dogs in the garden, take her out - the sooner you start toilet training the better (if you need advice on that, please ask).

You should also take her out and about in a carrier, a sling, or even in your arms before her vaccinations to start building her experience of the world from a safe place. As long as she isn't on the ground she will be perfectly safe.

Good luck on your new puppy! You can allow your pup in the garden for toileting. if you need any advice then please ask :)
