I've been away for a couple of days on company business. We were staying at The Celtic Manor Hotel near Newport in Wales and, as Nicky was making some furry blankets for me, I asked if she wanted to pop down to visit while I was there and bring the blankets with her :thumbsup:

We arranged this and Nicky said she'd bring Poppy for an outing in the car too

Poppy loves travelling in the car and it was amazing to meet such a special little whippie :wub: :wub: I was totally made up over how devoted Poppy has become to Nicky, and how outgoing and brave that little dog is after all she has been through in her life.

So, Nicky, a big thank you for bringing Poppy to meet me and thank you for the blankets too - they are lovely and I shall get the camera out at the weekend and post some pics of my gang in their lovely furry beds :thumbsup:

:lol: We stood outside the hotel for AGES, yapping away. In fact we were there for so long that the hotel porter came over and suggested we were a potential hazard to the hotel traffic (w00t) and I missed my lunch

But, hey, it was great to have a whippet fix while I was away :thumbsup:

I looked at the picture first and thought that your lawn has improved a lot Nicky...that chap you get in to mow the lawn and pick up the poo is doing a first rate job! (joking ...honest!! :- " :b )

It's great to meet up with fellow K9'ers and their whippets isn't it?

Poppy is such a sweetie :wub: .....my heart contracts a bit everytime I see her, because I can always see Fred in her (but I must stop saying that all the time).

I got mine thru ebay from USA - half the price 'cos the dollar is so weak against the pound now and it came with loads of extras and a memory card all included in the cost
