due to there being no where near enough dogs to fill the card ive had to pull the plug on this its a shame cuz i thought this was the kind of event you all wanted up here i must of been wrong as the number of dogs was very disapointing ive also had to pull the plug on are lamping comp due to a load of dog pulling out last minute for what reason i do not know but i think they do more lamping from there pc thank for your support the one that did enter

robert

thats a shame, pity a few more dogs couldn't enter, but good luck for next event and i hope you get more entries, people don't realise the effort that goes into organising events such as these,

Robert im gutted for you. After talking to you on Tuseday night i can tell how much you wanted to run this but really you had no option other than to cancel it.

Where are all the dogs from the last event ? where are the dogs that turn up at Gamefairs. Ive been told all sorts of reasons from different people why they heard others werent turning up and i can honestly say WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOX.

The best one being its "too far to run a dog" , yes, injuries can keep a dog from this event but not to turn up because you think its too far is pathetic. Im not going to say what else i was told was a reason for not turning up but its the worst of the lot and really should just sell your dog if thats your attitude to competition.

If you think its too far then just run what you think is far enough for your dog but as far as im concerned the amount of training and hunting going on here a few times up a 350 yd track shouldnt be an issue...!

Robert if i was you id bin the Lurchers from your Whippet Club as your always going to get this unless you run crappy 100+ runs !

Pity this happened as you are putting quite some effort into these events as was evident at the last one.

At the end of the day its a days crack..its a hobby ffsake not life saving surgery who cares who wins and who loses !

Robet.Im gutted for you too mate,as you are the only one pulling strings at the moment.Felt gutted for all those who were going to run their dogs too mate,as theres been quite a bit of training taking part behind the scene's.Myself included,as ive just about got Scruff running right again, for 1st time in months.Would it not be possible for a few of us to go ahead anyhow, just for an evenings craic, and forget about stupid prize money, and trophies for a change.I can have a word with Victor, and see if we can get on.If i need insurance for this,i'll try and get it sorted,ASAP.Will be down with Victor soon,so will see what can be done,if anything.Would be a good way of passing an hour or too some Sunday evening. Cant see why we all couldn't try to sort summit out somewhere,in our locality, even once a month, over the winter months. ...Billy...

Exactly ! that should cut your cost down Robert, even if you have to "up the entry-fee" a bit..so what. How many chances do we get to run on such a gallop ? !

And as youve just pmd me Billy..you have a little incentive to run for anyway which im sure will dig out a few dogs that were previously locked away.

Maybe now that nobody will get any prize money the names will flood in ;)

Robert give it a wee bit more consideration. In actual fact youre never going to get 32 dogs unless our friends from down South come up...youre next option then is 16 dogs...ive gave you 4 already and im sure Billy has atleast 3 good to go. so youre almost quater the 32 figure and half the 16.
