Fleesh wrote the program out and when we asked which way the wide and in side runner was we where asked to leave it the same as handicap traps ..as we where using the handicap traps and not the block ones...hence the note on the top of program

I would just like to echo what others have already said a brilliant days racing with a good atmosphere, very well run by the FED and Highgate staff, i probably enjoyed it because i only had Ballyso to run in the veterans, this was only her second bend race since march so we were very pleased with her taking runner up, ( i do believe Mr Bailey owes me a fiver ) :p

That will depend on weather the block scr traps are okay to use at the time ...and it didnt make any diffrents to inside and wide runners seeding which way the traps are set... its just meant the red trap was wide and orange trap was inside ..as it is in the handicap traps on bends..

Infact it made it alot easier for the lad doing the traps that day as he was not lugging the block traps back and forth

I would like to thank the NNWRF for putting on this great event, not forgetting Highgate staff who worked hard all day, especially the poor trap man out in the rain!! Well done to all who took part, and congratulations to the many winners. I was very touched to read the nice comments about Ebby. Its hard to believe she was only bought as a pet, and if it wasnt for the constant nagging by Dave Galea she would never have been on the track!! So glad he was there to see her do it. I know he was as proud of her as we were. The only down side of the day was that there was no trophy for her winning Supreme Scratch. And the DVD stopped before the end.!!!! Hope you got some good pics Jac ?
