Have you got any pictures :- " (w00t)

:D Well Done Dawn and Oliver.

Well done Jean with Perle and Dawn. I heard the judge with held first in open bitch, only one bitch there. This little bitch has won BIS under Jean Lanning, been placed at Ch and open shows. I would like to know why this particular judge with held the first and gave the bitch the reserve card!!!!!!!

That does seem a bit extreme to me! If the bitch had won nothing ever and was a poor example of the breed I could may be understand.

Excellent news I'm really pleased for you, Oliver will give you so much more on the show circuit. Cant wait to see him at a few Championship shows/whippet breed shows.

Paws up from Teeton Mill and Well done

I was entered at this one but decided not to go otherwise I would certainly have asked why first in open bitch was withheld. If it is the bitch I am thinking of, I have judged her in the past and there is no way I would have withheld - as you say, Jean Lanning gave her BIS and she has been in the cards at Ch shows in Open Bitch, has had numerous BOB's and group placings etc. and all in all has been a very consistent winner. Certainly a most odd decision by the judge, a Mrs Caroline Bradley.

Congrats to Jean and Perle though - and Dawn as well - on having a lovely day.

Well Done Dawn and Oliver, I would love to see him as I love his mum and dad. The judges critique will be interesting.

Hi Gill, I find that amazing, who is Caroline Bradley, I tried google but they bring up a horse lady. Anybody know what breed she has, apparently some body asked the show sec and she didn't know!!!!!!!! The committee must have discussed the judges at a meeting, what is it coming to, no wonder open show entries are falling!

Hi Everyone,

As the owner of the bitch under discussion I'd firstly like to thank everyone who has leapt to her defence and been so supportive. Secondly, may I say that in addition to her BIS she has had BOB and Group3 under the late Terry Thorn, gained her Stud Book number from 16 entries in Open Bitch, and was 3rd at Crufts under Carole Neale. She has also won or been placed 89 times from 87 different judges. Can they all be wrong? !!!!!!!!
