well said :thumbsup:kris said:it makes no difference what breed of dog it is,whippet, greyhound or mutt.theres too many dogs being dumped for pathetic reasons.some of these folk shouldnt be allowed to own a stuffed toy nevermind a real living creature.and having pots of money is no guarantee of a kind loving home
i'm glad that youre a good and kind owner, i dont have a problem with people on benefits, as i said i've been there. its just so upsetting every time you hear of a story of abuse or neglect. i'm sorry if i've caused offence to anyone, i dont mean to. i just want people to be more responsible for their actions. everyone on k9 has struck me as being so, and my remarks arent aimed at them. its about people who show no morality, i agree from wealthier walks of life too, towards any living being. i freely admit to being outspoken at times, dont blame me, blame my doggy madness !unwanted said:im a single father of three children on benifits and i have lurcher and terrier and my dogs are well looked after, and iv have whippets for a lot of years

In my opinion you are (in part at least) after all you are the one that dragged this into this topic. You say you know people with a handicap well I lived with a person with a handicap (since I was born and I was the youngest in the family) for 26 years until I moved out to get married. I only hope that you are not as unfortunate to suffer a disiability (many people who were born able bodied do unfortunatly) because you might just meet someone who does not understand your misfortune. Get back on topic this is about a dog who needs help and I for one hope that he find's a loving home with someone able bodied or not.
John said:right, lets get this straight, i was not having a pop! i understand where youre coming from, really i do. as for disabilities...i am in awe of their pride, courage and sheer guts to face life head on, regardless of whats thrown their way. i , like you, have personal experience with those less fortunate.lalena said:i'm not having a go about benefits!

everyone here is rooting for the little guy to go home to a family who'll treat him with all the love and attention he deserves, and the same for every pet who's found themselves in the same plight :luck: :luck: :luck:
