Just wanted to let everyone who had sent me a PM know that Ollie is awake and sitting up, although very groggy

I am really pleased that they are very happy with how the bone has healed, and he does not require the splint anymore which means that his pressure sore can now heal :D

I can pick him up at 14.00 so just a little bit longer to wait

Thanks to everyone for all your well wishes, I know we still have a way to go with his rehabilitation, but I am so pleased for him that it's looking so good.

Tracy (a very relieved and totally obsessive mother :- " )

That is SUCH good news Tracy :D - I'm so pleased for you. Give him a hug from me when he gets home :huggles:

Awwww good boy Ollie :huggles: :huggles: lots of luck for a speedy recovery and rehab :luck: :luck: :luck:

All up hill from here Tracy

Thats good news Tracy ....... lots of hugs to the wee boy :huggles:

Freeway had his cast removed yesterday, now just a soft bandage so he can start stretching his ligaments again

Excellent news - and Get Well soon.  :huggles:

That is good news, best wishes for a speedy recovery :luck: :luck: :luck:

Well he should be home by now so hope you are spoiling him. I hope he has a blue bandage :) not a girlie pink one (w00t)

It's such a worry but :luck: for a quick recovery.

Good news that Ollie and Freeway are both on the road to recovery. :luck: :huggles:

Glad to hear that Ollie and Freeway are both making good recoveries

Just keep being careful now you boys! :luck:

How is he Tracy ?? update please :)

Good luck to Freeway for speedy recovery :huggles: :luck: :luck:

Sorry it's taken me so long to get on and reply :b

Ollie is still a bit tired from his anaesthetic but he is okay. The pressure wound from the bandage is quite sore, but looking okay

He is being a typical whippet now and lapping up all the attention, having been tempted by all manner of foods over the course of the afternoon and evening  but he has now eaten and drunk and done his "business" so I am a much happier mum :b

Glad Freeway is coming along nicely Wendy, it's such a relief for us all, Lesley included, when they are home safe and well.

Thanks so much to everyone for their lovely messages, Ollie says he's quite chuffed that so many people care :D

It is nice to see him without a bandage for the first time in 4 weeks, he looks like a whippet again (w00t)
