as some of you know me and ollie had a fall today and some how ollie managed to rip his nail out ,it now seems to be really bothering him he limping and really doesnt want to put wieght on it iv bathed it in salt water ,is ther anything else i can do ,he ripped another nail out before and that didnt nother him at all :blink:

if hes taken it clean off there shouldnt be a problem,try to keep it clean so he hopefully doesnt get an infection :thumbsup: might be just sore to why hes limping but if hes still limping tomorrow maybe best getting it checked out at the vets :thumbsup:

Oh dear, poor Ollie I bet that is really sore. My boy Kenzie ripped a nail off once, all that was left was the white sticky thing, which apparently is the nerve!!!!! I took him to the vets and they cleaned it up and were very cautious about infection - he had to have it dressed for a few days and antibiotics. May be worth a chat with your vets. Sending loads of :huggles: :huggles: for the gorgeous boy. xx
