I do agree though that the original thread would be better put back on with the ignorant comments taken out, people need the information so the can keep a look out and also if someone loses a dog they need the support given on here :thumbsup:

took a few of mine for walk in local woods, all was going fine til a scrap started between sas and mabel  mabel got a few nasty bites to throat and danny got a nip on his foot and is still missing , we have been all back through the woods the local man who lives in woods is going back out to look again later, stillno sign at all  i knew a few people whom live on edge of wood and they are all keeping an eye open for him , 1 chap will be out later tonight with his rifle for rabits so will keep an eye whilst out in the night too , police , dog warden and local land owners are all informed so waiting by fone to see if he found , baysitter will be here in a bit so i can go back so look
no news as yet  , just rang the man who lives close to where i lost him , he is just about to go back out , please no more calls im trying to keep lines clear , please understand

we now trying to get him on dog lost, he is chipped so fingers crossed we get news very soon

we were in local woods hun , a fight broke out and he had a nip to foot, but other 2 got really fighting and he was last seen sitting in ferns , but started to follow and rejoin the walk? turned a corner and he was gone???

i think the girls fighting really spooked him , the dog in pic from our walk isnt danny thats weasel ( look there is no underneath bits!!! :b ) but are almost identical, so with a few black rindles id lost a dark bum ? a corner is all it takes

but he is back now and safe and well so what more could we want

I didnt see anything particular offensive on this thread, but think I logged off around 11pm,...

it would have been nice to see the original thread back on with the so called offensive posts missing... I dont understand the rules maybe sometimes.

Surely we are all dog lovers and can clearly see when someone is in distress

Anyway at least its good news at the end of the day and Danny is home... :huggles: :huggles:

you would think people wouldnt kick people when ther already down janis ,but that wasnt the case ,the remarks off somone were uncalled for and a few of us got punished for sticking up for tanya in here time of need ,im really annoyed at this ,but anyway all is well now and little danny has been found :huggles: :huggles:

I think it's more a reflection on themselves tbh - anyone who would use a situation like this to give someone a good kicking, is showing what kind of person they truely are.

People who are able to put aside their differences and help each other out in times of real need are those worth all of our respect - they certainly have mine.

i had a lovely pm from a person i dont get on with but differences were put aside and that person clearly is a true dog lover and took time out to pm me about danny, they didnt have to, but CHOSE to and to that person , i truly thank you , i think this shows the true spirit of k9 :huggles:

the person whom put the nasty comments on , why bother with thinking of them? they are very ignorant and oviously have no real feelings for dogs? also how brave was it to come on under ANOTHER name :- " so please those of you who got warnings , im so sorry , you felt the need to give this person a reply , you would have at least thought they would have got their facts even half way true though!!! did laugh at the ref to cleo though , ermmmm total lurcher cleo memorial plastered all over net :- " ermmm hidden yes lol!!! (w00t) please just laugh at them everyone , treat it with the comtempt it deserves :thumbsup:

Ok picture the scene, your out with your BF having a nice Christmas do with his staff and your phone rings and it's your Mum worrying about a topic on K9. Ok no love lost between my Mum and Tanya but she thought the post concerned was bang out of order, she was also concerned at the amount of aggresive abuse that was being posted in retaliation. Obviously I don't know but I wonder how many of you took time out to actually report the post?

So BF's given my moby to get on K9 so he can try and do something to prevent further upset. Then we get back home and he has to spend the rest of the night going through posts, and moderating as appropiate.

At the end of the day there was threatening behaviour posted and explicit language, both breach K9 rules as we all know so I hardly think you can question punishments you've been given.

Tanya, I can't really put into words how relieved I am that Danny is safely home

I think we all have such strong protective love towards our various whippies, iggies and lurchers etc that we can all imagine how you felt last night

Fortunately I wasn't warned for one of my posts and I wouldn't normally become involved but the post which sparked my comment was really beyond reprehension.

So sorry this thread was removed - I thought someone else had made it invisible while it was being dealt with, but she only meant the offensive post. I saw that it wasn't in fact invisible, so I made it so. It was a misunderstanding on my part, and for that I apologise. I hope it has been restored now, and all our thoughts are with Posh Totty, and the hope that Danny will be home again soon :luck:

Edited to say:- Oh and now I've read right through this post, I see Danny is home. Thank goodness :thumbsup: and hope he has a special Christmas dinner tomorrow :huggles: :huggles:
