I've got nothing to contribute. I just thought I'd take a peek at the Whippet racing Forum, and came across this thread. Fantastic photos all round...whippets at their best..absolutely beautiful to see.

Jacquie..how did you capture such a stunning close up like that? Pls do give us some hints, as I've just joined a photography club, and I'd love to be able to capture a quality picture like that. Do you have an SLR camera? Would love to know :teehee:

I won't be able to use it without the photographer's permission as a professional will with-hold copyright.

BUT I can use it as the BASIS for a composition of dogs of another colour....

Hi Shaz - Thanks for the photo - yes it is our boy - well boys, as Tyler (Duncton Crusader) is on the left in the blue coat and Ross (Duncton Legacy) is in the red coat.

Nice to get a picture of Tyler running as he is going to be off the track for quite a while now as he was injured in that very race

Thanks Shaz - great photos. We are going to Gloucester tommorow so won't be at Andover, perhaps you could give it to Angie and I could collect it from her? (am happy to pay any costs when we next see you). Thanks for your kind words about Tyler - he is going mad already and has to be kept quiet with no walking for at least two weeks yet! - and he was just getting going on the track

Just thought - nice to see Mum (Sherry) and Son in the two pictures - well sons as Flynn is also in that first photo!

I love seeing the dog's trapping in photo's as they get into some strange positions (w00t)
