After Jasper's nasty experience it was our turn today.
Harri and I were walking along our usual cool and shady route and I was holding a Bristol gate open for him to follow me through when I spotted a husky and a husky cross heading towards us at high speed.
There was just something about them that I didn't like so I hopped back through the gate with Harri and slammed it shut.
The husky was so determined to get to Harri that he managed to squeeze under the gate and I was really worried. Although he didn't actually attack Harri at this point his body language was aggressive and I was worried that he'd suddenly "turn".
Luckily the owner then caught up ( in no great hurry I might say) and made a casual comment that the husky was a "nasty b*****r" and he wouldn't trust him an inch with other dogs or children.....
Lead then? And muzzle? It's a popular route for dog walkers and mothers with young children. I may not have been my usual polite self in my response!
