I live down in Cornwall, it's above Perranporth beach, up by Haven Leisure Holiday Camp, it's all common ground., until you reach the fence, which is owned by the ministry, :)) (your not aloud in there) :b but as long as the red flags aren't flying and you keep to the path away from the Arm Camp, your OK. (i don't even think they use the camp any more) :- I call it The Lost Church because there's a lost church buried in the sand, (more like an old ruin to me) but people like to come and look at it. sorry, i don't half prattle on. :b (w00t) di

Where are you from Lisa? :)

This is where St Piran (patron saint of Cornwall) is said to have first set foot on Cornish soil from his journey across the sea from Ireland. The "Lost Church" was built in the 7th Century and buried in the sands for centuries. Also here is St Pirans Oratory, where St Piran is rumoured to have been buried, now marked by a stone plinth.

The Army training land is for sale for £750k, hopefully it wont be bought up by a big developer, it is a beautiful place, nice for the dogs, (and adders, lol!!)

Leia is looking fit, Di

Great looking dogs and I agree a wonderful place to excercise your dogs not been up there for a long time now! but am looking for a pup now and will go back there when I have one. I'm in Mount Hawke do you know of any Lurcher events/clubs in cornwall there used to be a show in St.agnes but I cannot find any mention of wether it's still running and the website for the place in Helston only has an empty home page. As I said I'm looking for a pup so if anyone knows of a litter in cornwall can you please message me with details.
