Took Ozzy for a check up on Tuesday and he is progressing well :) The vet has reduced the steroids again so he is only having one a day now but I have to watch him very carefully for any wobbling or shaking in case of any relapse :sweating:

I took him to his favourite park the other day for the first time since he was poorly and he had a really good charge round - I got a lump in my throat watching him when I think how poorly he was and next time I promise Ill try to remember to take the video camera :- "

Here are some pics I took of him playing in the back garden - trouble is now he is getting his speed back I end up with a blur? Im still practising with the new camera so I hope I will improve :b

Great pics of Ozzy looking so full of the joys of life - it must have been great to see him having such fun :D

:huggles: Oh tina, I've got tears in my eyes too. Not only is it fantastic to see him charging around but he is SMILING so much. What a happy boy he looks now. Well done and big hugs Tina for looking after him so well and giving him every chance. Some dogs I'm afraid would not have been so lucky.

Missed seeing you at Beverley but another day I am sure.

:huggles: :huggles: for you and Ozzy

Took Ozzy to swim gym today but he doesnt seem to be enjoying the treadmill at the moment. As soon as the water starts to come in he hunches himself up  I wondered if it was because the treadmill moves under him and he is remembering being dizzy and wobbly so its making him scared? I dont think its anything physical because he charges around - running and jumping and isnt hunched at all the rest of the time. Do you think his confidence will return or should I stop taking him? - he only does a short time at slow pace at the moment and is fine when he comes out? What do you think?

Tina

I know nothing about treadmills - you need to balance how much good it is doing him now he's so mobile and how lttle he's enjoying it

I wonder if now he can build his own muscle up by being a loon, he could do without it, especially if he's not happy. :huggles:

I think you could probably be right Tina. I suppose he has just had enough of feeling wobbly and maybe he thinks it's him and not realising its the treadmill.
