Ozzy was poorly last week and ended up at the vets :( . He had started with the runs on the Monday and after resting his stomach for 24 hours things seemed to have settled. I gave him a little cooked chicken and rice but this set him off again :x The vet gave him ABs and panacur granules explaining that they are good for killing off a type of bug in the stomach. All through this Ozzy was his normal bonkers self charging about etc and playing but I was worried  and none of my other dogs were ill. He is fine now  but has lost weight and wondered if anyone could advise as to how to get this weight back on without upsetting his stomach   .

I wouldnt worry about him being a bit lean for a week or too , its best to get his stomach back to normal before piling in loads of food , He will soon make it up , Tripe is good for putting on weight IMO , Maybe you could give him an extra small meal a day :huggles: Pleased its nothing serious :huggles:

 Poor Ozzy :( Hope he is feeling better soon and puts the weight back on. .......Maybe if you could get him to CALM DOWN (w00t) :- " for 5 minutes he'd stop burning it all off using all that energy

Give him a big hug :huggles: from me (and Lola......his equally bonkers crazy sister!!)

I'm glad that Ozzy has'nt been upset by his his tummy probs, hopefully he will start to put the weight back on very soon...I find cooked mince and boiled rice or pasta very good for bulking them out and it does'nt seem to upset their tummies at all.

Sending lots of :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: to Ozzy!
