The ciggies, havent had one sin 18th dec, but im gaggin fer one now, at the mo, im giving Ruthies ash pan a damn good sniftering, dont suppose you ever lose the urge :- "
 
Hey Keith, you are doing really well. :lol: Don't give in, even though you are worried about Sal. Even at 20 a day you will have not smoked 1280 cigarettes and saved over £300. :- " I bet you keep up better with Jilll ove those fields too.

Don't give in now Keithy, your lungs will be just starting to recover, and you have gotten over the worst :thumbsup: Not that I've ever smoked, but giving up food is about as hard for me :teehee:
 
as you say keith ... you never lose the urge..and i dont think you do,its been over two year for me now and im still getting those dreaded urges :( you have to get tough with yourself and dont give in ,have you tried patches they helped me :thumbsup:

i also chew gum like its going out of fashion :blink:

I haven't smoked for over two years apart from the odd one when

i've been drinking...........i forget i don't smoke :b

But when i tried one sober a few months back i hit the floor, it

was awful, thought i was going to die, but at least i know now i

wont smoke again.

 

Try and stick it out Keith..........your doing really well

keep it up, don't go back, my OH stopped 15 th Dec 06 and I'm so pleased about it, he doesn't smell like an old ashtray now :- " is much fitter and less poor :D

the hardest part must be if those around you smoke ! I never have thank goodness ;)

I have other vices that compensate :lol: :lol:

Well done keith keep it up I stopped 11 years ago then had my fifth heart attack must have been the shock of stopping LOL and even now there is still a slight urge but think of all the benefits that you gain better health nicer smell tastier food more money in your pocket and less risk of heart troubles. Keep it up Keith it does get easier as you go along and you will hate the smell of everyone else smoking. Any way it will be better for all three women in your life too. Henry. :cheers:

keith stick with it mate it's been 27 year for me and it's the best thing i have ever done i can't stand the smell of ciggie smoke,banning smoking in public places is the best thing that as happened and can only help you succeed :thumbsup:
 
try reading Allan Carrs book

aparently by the time you finish it you will never want to pick up a ciggy again :thumbsup:
