slightly better looking news this evening.

Parker had another blood test for his liver and although the bile reading is still high it is lower than a week ago and he is more or less his normal self.

We have another week of Zentonil (liver support drug) and he will be going on a liver support diet at the end of the week(only because we have to wait for the food to be ordered.)

It then remains a case of wait and see....he has to go back for another blood test in a month unless something happens in which case he will have to go back before.

Both myself and the vet are hopeful that it will be possible to maintain Parker on diet alone depending on the next few weeks,otherwise it means long term meds etc.

Much better looking news than i thought a week ago,so much much happier and more hopeful for my annoying little beagle :lol:

The anaemia issue is still an odd one and at the moment we are regarding it as unrelated to the liver issue and we will just have to wait and see if the anaemia returns.
