Poor Tig, how long ago was her cracked hock? Surely she won't be being re-homed actually in plaster? That might be a bit stressful for her. I imagine if Ritch's is letting Sadie take her home she must be all fine and dandy now - isn't she? :b Nice to know she has a litter sister on K9!

I was going to say pig's ears too  LOTS!

And any chewy things like rawhide and nylabones.

Throwing things - we have a really good frisbee which goes miles and a tennis ball on a rope which you can do a real 'Highland Fling' with (w00t)

How sweet of your daughter to buy a blanket with her paper round money, sadie. I bet she's as excited as you are! In fact I can feel myself getting a bit bubbly as I type :D

I was at Ritchie & Manda's on Saturday and can tell you she's not in plaster. The picture (which was taken recently) which Ritchie posted on K9, is just how she is. I might add that she is in lovely nick, but then you would expect that coming from these kennels. Your very lucky. :D Cheers Mick

Thank you all for your replies, Got a name tag already, got an appointment to have her chipped. I am really excited. Think thats an understatment!! :teehee: I know about her bad leg, thats why i thought it would be wise to pick her up after christmas, Its going to be chaos here on christmas day as my other two children will be here this year, so i thought it would be better and calmer if there was just me here. My daughter goes to visit her dad on the day i pick Tig up, and my other 2 children also go back home the same day. Im sure its going to be a scarey time not just for me but for my new baby as well. Thank you all for your help, Sadie xxxxx

How come, nobody ever uses the live chat? :- " Thought you would get a good conversation going in there judging by the amount of replies to peoples posts. Just me being nosey!

Has she arrived yet then??? Photos please of her settling in soon. :huggles:

SHES HOME!!!!!!!!!!! Im so pleased with her, she's settled right in. Picked her up yesterday, Ritch and mand were lovely. In the car on the way home, i handed john a sausage sandwich, and before he had chance to take it off me, guess who had it? Yes, Tig!! Haven't had any problems with her, although, i went to bed last night and put her in the kitchen, 5 minutes later, she was howling, so i slept on the setee, with Tig beside me. Would like some advice on how i can get a good nights sleep, if anyone has any. She came into season 2 days ago so she can't come to bed with me, i know thats the simple answer. I also know that ive got to give her time to settle in. Thanks to everyone who has wished me luck. I'll keep you all updated and post some photos as soon as i get my pc sorted. Thankyou again xxxxxx
