Wow what a nice day it looks like you had.

We actually had typical Cumbrian weather today...rain, hailstones and a freezing wind this morning, warm with blinding sunshine this afternoon  .

You must have been up really early then, that was well before 10am

Out walking this morning I saw a nice secluded bit of shore with only one escape route so I thought I'd try Ben off the lead. I was amazed, he comes as soon as I call, except when he found what must've been a very interesting rock  .

The rock was SO interesting he carried all the way home, trailing metre long strings of drool behind him in the wind :x

Selecting the right rock.

Getting to know the rock.

He has taken it to bed with him!!!

 He's a super dog! Lucky you, Farwells.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah he is just LUSH! Loved the rock story ... they're a mystery sometimes, aren't they  ...

What a handsome boy.Love the storey about the rock :huggles: to Ben

He is just lovely - very like my Weasel who is 2 and a half now. He has the same big mad ears! I don't know what cross he is, but would be interested if anybody had any ideas! He is totally manic like a collie one minute and really chilled the next - brilliant combination!

Weasel looks great, your description sounds EXACTLY like Ben  . Do you have any more pics for "guess the cross"? I keep getting asked if Ben is "one of them Egyptian dogs" .

Here's a gratuitous scenic pic of Ben having a damn good run around instead of yanking my arm off :p , for anyone not bored yet!!!

He is sooo cute! It looks lovely where you live as well - is it in the north of England somewhere? I'll have to get my camera fixed so I can send you some more photos of Weasel with the same bat ears!!

Lovely pictures - Ben looks a really super dog! :huggles:

Wow, great pics ... where are you based?
Gee thanks :D .

I'm based on the Solway coast in the west of Cumbria, in " an attractive coastal town on the Solway estuary, with sweeping views, shoreline walks, golf links, coastal sailing, lively pubs and memorable summer festivals. Here you can experience a maritime history of two thousand years of the sea, visit the many attractions and unique shops, and discover a Lake District experience with definite difference." according to our town's website!

Funny how they never mention the frequent howling gales and horizontal rain (w00t) . Still, when it's sunny like today I can't complain :)

Its funnyisnt it, it looks so picturesque?sp? but even in the middle of summer you can be stood with your parka on with the howling gales getting soaking wet
