thankyou for your kind coments, first of all shamrock is a SHE (w00t)

jo you are right she is an irish sports horse, she looks more ID cos she's fat!

we'v showjumped, hunted and done cross country but now (for me, for the first time in 23 years of riding) we are learning dressage  sham's never done dressage either and at first just didnt understand why we were not going round at a hundred miles an hour!! but we are getting it together now and iv got a really good person to teach me :D we also do a lot of hacking which i love cos im really nosey and i can see into everyones house.

forgot to add she's a full up 16.2 jo

Ooohh, good luck with the dressage, it isn't a discipline i've ever tried. (i liked going round at 100 miles an hour too much  ) I thought she looked bigger than 16.2

Shamrock looks very nice  you are very lucky to own such a beauty.

i didnt know you rode jo

yes she does look a lot bigger then 16.2 but that is what she is, i think its her big tummy  she is now on a diet though as she looks huge in those pic's (w00t)

I had a bay mare called Shamrock, called her Sharna for her pet name. Mine only had 2 white socks on her hind legs. Made me look twice as it is such an unusual name, she is very pretty.

I haven't got a horse anymore Mel but i have in the past. I rode a lot and was very into showing and competition. I did 'in hand' showing as well as ridden. My last horse was an Arab mare.

shamrock is lovely mel  and as jo says she looks massive .

good luck with the dessage :luck:

Wow, she is super  Unfortunately I love dressage, and am too chicken at the 100mph stuff!!! I envy you lot that can enjoy cross country

Shamrock is a beauty. I had a ID mare once, and we had a TBx foal from her. Her name was Polly Peachum. The foal later went show-jumping. But my main discipline was endurance riding on various Arab horses. I bet you have great times with :luck: Shamrock.
