I understand what you are saying Nina , but the fact that these 2 offices KNEW who you were on about means it probably wasnt an isolated incident (w00t) , dosnt it

So , although I know you want to go softly sofltly , and be Pally , this man need STOPPING !!

NOW !!!

I know what you are saying & i agree BUT its not "Joe Bloggs" down the street that was seen abusing a dog its the POLICE!

Twice i've put in official complaints against them & twice its got me NO WHERE.

I'm not gonna go into it BUT i do know from personal experience you are NEVER gonna win against them.

How am i gonna prove what i saw with NO witness's against a Police Officer with another in the car who is just gonna back up his mate & say he saw nothing?

I have no way of proving what i saw & at the least it would get swept under the carpet & the worst I would probably end up getting done for slandering a Police Officer.

Like you i am more than concerned about this poor dog BUT i have enough sense to know when to back off & take a back seat & try a different approach by being friendly with this guy i spoke to today.

Its my only hope & as much as i care about the poor dog without witness's or anyone to back what i saw i am fighting a losing battle. :(

I really dont agree, i think you should make an appointment with the district commander or the top suppervisor in the dog section, and discuss it with them. You dont have to go in all guns blazing, just tell what you saw etc....

They have a duty to do something and to respond within a certain time, i just could not let this rest.....

I agree, they may speak to their colleague, but nothing will come of it and he will carry on abusing his dog. You've done the right thing trying to be nice about it but I would be inclined to follow it up in some way, probably with a personal visit.
