We are pleased to say that Polly has had her pups today, seven in total. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

We have four bitch’s three black and one brindle; all with a white chest blaze and three dogs two black and one brindle all again all with a white blaze on the chest.

We expected blacks and blues but both sire and dame have brindle in their lineage

The first was a big black dog which she struggled with and so needed a little help the four followed quite quickly but by then Polly was tired but we could tell she still had some more to come. After a couple of hours she was taken to the vets and she was given an oxytocin (spelling) injection to make her uterus contract, after which she quickly produced another two pups.

The order of the pups was

Black dog at 11.25 oz. breach (w00t) (w00t)

Brindle boy at 10.75 oz breach

Black bitch 10.75 oz breach

Black bitch 9.25 oz normal

Black bitch girl 9 oz normal

Black dog 10.25 oz normal

Brindle bitch 8.75 oz normal

Here are a few pics of Polly with them and a couple of them on they’re own.
