Well after all the good things that have been happening to Spry of late I suppose it was inevitable that we had to have a bit of bad luck :(

Spry has a lump on her knee which doesn't cause her any bother but us being us whipped her off to the vet and he says it's a tumor :eek: not as scary as it sounds thank goodness :sweating: , not cancerous type and quite common in the short hair breeds apparentley but he wants to take it out never the less because he says it will grow and may become infected :( so she's booked in Tuesday morning to have it removed, vets says she is fine to race this weekend which I'm glad about because she would have been very fed up not to, before her recouperation rest :huggles:

:( Really sorry to hear about Spry :wub: , but very glad that it is not cancerous.

I will be watching out for a post on Tuesday telling us all that Spry is back home, fit and well. :luck: :luck:

Thanks for your well wishes everyone as you can imagine I'm not looking forward to Tuesday :( but the vet reassured us that it would need only the mildest of anesthetic(sp) so now I just want it done with and gone :thumbsup:
