Sending lots of luck :luck: and hugs :huggles: and hope Ozzy is feeling better soon x

:(I will see how he is in the morning and if there is no improvement on today then I will take him to the emergency surgery at my vets tomorrow. At least they will have all his xrays and things to hand. He has eaten very little today :( fingers crossed he is a little better in the morning :luck:

Im keeping everything crossed for Ozzy :huggles: :luck: :huggles: and you too.what a worrying time...

Im sure I read on here about one of FionaS' dogs bumping into her leg in the garden and had very similar symptoms... at least it sounds the same almost as Ozzy. He did make a full recovery.

Bless him :( I hope he gets better soon. My thoughts are with you during this worrying time :huggles: I would say keep him very quite, don't let him jump up onto furniture, go upstairs etc. Any possible spine/neck injury should slowly improve if he rests enough. The vomiting may be a reaction to the medication he was given, so wouldn't worry too much. Also not eating is understandable if he is in pain.

My dog Pippet was knocked over by one of my german shepherds a while back and she totally lost the use of her hind legs for about 10 minutes. I rushed her to the vets but by the time we got there she was walking again, although very pottery and all hunched up. After 3 weeks rest and not going near the big dogs she was almost back to normal. Even now though if she gets bumps she goes all wobbly again

Best wishes

Took Oz to the vets this morning, I rang him and told him he had been sick and to see what the plan was for tomorrows appointment but the vet wanted to see him so off we went. He has given the little lad an anti nausea injection as he hasnt eaten or drunk much at all. He did say that if it was just the wobbling he would say just give him time and he will heal, but its his other symptoms that are worrying him - the twitching etc.. :( so we might have to take him to Liverpool for an MRI scan. Thanks again for all your good wishes - keep the good vibes coming

I thought Metacam should be given with food ? As it can upset the digestion.

If the poor chap is not eating check again with the vet there may be something els he could have on an empty tum.

Bless him he has enough without his medication upseting him

Yes, the vet said to give it with food or just after but it was last night when Ozzy was sick :x and really thats why I rang the vet this morning cos I was worried he would be in pain. He has had a couple of small spoons of food today, the injection should stop any nausea but if he is sick again, I have to leave off the Metacam

Oh I am sending you healing thoughts  I do hope you have some good news soon

Took Ozzy to the vets again today, another bloodtest and long discussions looking for clues, the vet is concerned because he isnt eating or drinking much. Now we are wondering wether there is something else causing the shaking, loss of appetite and hypersensivity maybe he was coming down with something before the fall and Ive just assumed he was ill because he showed symptoms a day after. He has eaten a little bit of chicken tonight  and then its back to the vet on wednesday to discuss wether to do the MRI. He is so brave :huggles:
