I can't tell you what I'd like to do to whoever was responsible for this :rant: I hope someone recognises this girl and comes forward.

One of my friends has a beautiful greyhound who also had her ears hacked off, but at least she survived and is now a very well-loved pet.

This stuff turns my stomach, i have worked with racing greyhounds for near on twenty four years, and have seen some horrific things done to these beautiful dogs,

Sorry, can't get the link to work. Was she killed or did she die of natural causes (not unknown when highly pregnant)? Obviously the ears were mutilated to prevent identification, but before or after death?

Me & my trainer wer goin to Brough Park Stadium in Newcastle not so long ago to race 11 greyhounds, now on the way down--we always stopped at a big layby on a country road to let the dogs out to relieve themselfs 10 mile from the track, on this occasion my trainer said scoobs whats that smell, now i know a dead smell when i smell it with hunting all my days, as i looked over the hedge at the top side of the layby, there was a wee burn AND in the burn YES there he was, A male greyhound, Pam said lift its head and get the ear marking=TATTOO, on this occation the same--ears cut off, so the B"""""RDS could"nt be traced.! absolute SCUM these people and not fit to keep a hamster, never mind a beautiful running dog.! :angry: :angry: :angry:

They'll drive how many miles to race them, but cant be bothered making a trip to the vet to have them pts humanely, or handing them to a rescue. It's beyond belief. RIP girlie & babies - so sorry you were let down so badly, we arent all like that.
