i went with a friend today ,to have a nose lol and view puppies ,and was quite appalled , this lady has 6 whippet bitches and a dog kept in a uncovered run ,with a plastic kennel approx 3x2 ft 2 of the bitches where in season and the dog lives in with them 24/7 , we where offered a pup out of the bitch in season , which after looking at the breeders suplement her last litter was in march ,and this seems to be her third litter although only 21/2 years old , it seems this lady registered 3 litters in the spring and is quite happy to to breed them all again now!!!!!

we looked at the pups about 9 weeks old pins up pot bellied ,they also live out ,with a small kennel and unsheltered run , im still feeling sorry for them now awwwww its cold out ,all these dogs had good pedigrees

oh she also had 3 borzoi bitch pups 5 months old and is looking to buy a boy in so imagine there fate

This is a puppy farmer without doubt.

Are the pups KC reg? If so they want informing as do the RSPCA - they are the only ones with the power to do anything about the dogs welfare.

I bet the tax office would love to know about this income as would the local council - she needs to be registered with them with that number of bitches and I am 100% confident that she won't be. If you know the breeding of the dogs involved, I would also let there breeders know - I would be in there removing mine whatever it took - God forbid that any of them should end up with scum like that.

Start these things today, if I lived nearer, I wouldn't hesitate to move in.

Please let us know what happens

agreewith everything ststed above :))

poor things , that is just awfull. people like that

Name and shame or PM everyone you can to get this creature sorted out.

Now I was told not to name and shame when I bought from a breeder like this :- "

Please read the Board rule below.

You must not make personal attacks on other groups, persons, organisations or users. If you feel you must criticise then criticise the idea not the individual or group. Any posts criticising individuals or groups will probably get removed and those doing the critcising will be warned via the warning system

If I came across a breeder that was causing unecessary suffering to their animals, as this "lady" appears to be, I would follow Jools advice here.

The poor animals. :(

we will be informing the relavant athorities tomorrow ,southwest whippet ,has been informed ,i know 1 of the breeders ,so things should swing into action ,im not sure if the pups where kc as we only saw the parents pedigree ,this lady was quite open about things ,she moves around a lot !!!!!!!!!! so the bitches arent registered to that address ,apparently she moved down from scotland 6 weeks ago ,i just wanted whippet and borzoi people to be aware ,as when buying a new puppy she comes across ok ,i cant stop thinking about the poor soles her stud dogs ,mother and 5 month old daughter are also running with him

people who knock out puppies like this IMHO should be told of who they are, that way she wouldn't have buyers therefore no need to breed these poor girls over and over, it's the only way IMO!

and how on earth is she able to cope! I've found one litter of 11 very hard work expensive and time consuming, and I have help from my hubby and kids, they can't be getting the proper care surely!

im quite happy to name and shame on pm

would it be possible to put the rough area where the dogs are and where the advert was seen , i dont know if this will go against k9 rules but to give us a vague idea so if people are looking for a pup they dont go to her ?

What an appalling state of affairs. Doesn't seem any doubt, in my mind, what anyone's motives are, keeping dogs in such conditions as those. It is neglectful and downright irresponsible, to let a dog live in direct contact with in-season bitches.

People who treat their dogs like this, make me so angry.

this makes me feel so sad for the poor dogs :(

and to honest, I'm always shocked that in this day and age that people will still buy puppies from 'breeders' like this - every single responsible body that is involved with dogs in any way, even advert papers and websites, tell people to check the conditions the animals are being raised in - why are people so stupid as to keep this sort of woman in buisiness??????????

lets hope the authorities pull their fingers out, get off their ar*** and sort this out

i doubt the rspca will do anything. :( if the dogs have food, water and shelter they will say theres nothing they can do.it might be better to tell the local councils enviromental health dept about whats going on to get them to check about her breeding licence or lack of one and let them take the ball and run with it.

I wonder if you could enlighten us as to which of the posts has contravened your restrictions above?

If not I wonder, what are you afraid of?
