Does anyone know a good puppy playgroup near Newport (S.Wales)? One of my puppies is going off on Saturday to his new home (leaving his poor little sister on her own due to a last minute let-down  ) and his new owners don't know how to find one. It's a bit out of my region so if anyone can recommend one, I'd love to be ableto pass it on. T.I.A.

I would suggest either the new owners enquire at their vets for any puppy socialisation groups or their local canine society , something along the lines of puppy ringcraft sessions alternatively there is an organisation called puppy school

(based up your way i believe) look them up on www.puppyschool.co.uk we took Hugo to one of their franchise operations locally and it certainly didn't do him any harm.

We found one via our vets... they do them during the puppy jabs...

Can't recommend Puppy School highly enough, all of mine have attended these, and Kris Glover who owns my local franchise was fantastic

Many thanks to everyone for their suggestions - I passed them all on and they have found what seems a good place near to them and are signing on after he has had his second shot (and I have found a home for his sister - hooray - peace at home for everyone!).
