What good advice you are getting from fellow K9ers ,

I dont know lots about horses , :- " but I thought she had a dippy back , maybe she was backed too soon ,

Ive never driven , but can you drive with a hackamore ? I very much doubt it

I too think she is well over priced and even though you love her to bits , dont be taken for money that you may well need in the future .

My friend breeds ,shows and wins big time with Welsh section ponies and she would be rubbing her hands with glee at the price youve been asked for , for one that has won nothing , in hand or otherwise .

Lots of negotiating to do me thinks

Good luck :luck:

So happy for you rae! (w00t)

The right price will come

Hope everything goes well for you Rae :huggles:

Honey will be happy with you and once she's yours you be able to change a few other things with her owner

hi its hard to give a price without seeing her but her dippy back could be lack of muscle in the wright place i guess she doesnt ride in an outline ,have her teeth looked at by the dentist(this is around 30.00) and he will give you her age also say about having a vetting done on her that way if there are any problems the owners will tell you ,if shes a kind pony and safe and its what you want i would only pay £800-£1000 depends on her age etc and is she sound ,having said that our jumping ponies go for big money even at the grand age of 20 plus, she would never jump a bsja cource but then again will hack out safe for you when ours wont so its hard to price but i think that price is fair

hope it all goes well for you

Is she good in all other ways etc, catch, shoe. box , etc??

Seen as you are down south prices are always far more than up here but £2500 def not, if she was 110% to hack and child proof then yes.

She has got a large dip in her back, but id not worry about her wither seems to me like she is more cresty than anything typical welshie really.

She does seem older than 8. Ask the dentist next time.

Get her vetted just for peace of mind.

I hope all goes well for you i know you have mentioned before you'd like to own her. :luck:

P.s - id say £1500-1800 (max!)

If you need any help advice pls ask

HOW EXCITING (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) how on earth did you manage to pull that one off?

She wears the poor guy down.......................Poor Gaz, he just wants some peace I expect

Good luck with buying Honey, I am sure you can come to a more sensible price with R. I always think that if you have a top price in mind and turn up with that exact amount of money in pound notes, it is difficult to resist for a kerching woman like her. :luck:

Well, the good news is that OH has agreed to buying Honey  :D   I'm so excited I couldn't sleep last night.  :b
I've rang round a few vets today to get prices for a vet check (she needs one for her insurance) and vaccines.  Prices vary hugely, and I'm going to mull it over but we'll probably get it done next week when it's a bit dryer.

I've told her owner that we are going to buy her, so once the check is done it's just a matter of agreeing opn a price  (w00t)

I'm also on the look out for a decent field shelter if anyone can recommend any manufacturers I'd be grateful.

:D   :D   :D

Gosh Im so thrilled for you Rae, I knew you would in the end you know.. ;) ....its only money at the end of the day..... :- "

Good luck with Honey :huggles:

Absolutely Janis - it's only money (w00t) Who said you cant buy happiness. :p

Yes, Jo is right I wore poor Gary down :( but he is getting a nice big HD ready 40" tv this week (which is totally unecessary as far as I'm concerned!)

Hannah is right too - I'm trying to be housewife extrodinaire at the moment :b  (For Supe I had to agree to go on a foreign holiday - so we had a weekend in Spain :p )

Thats great news Rae  ....................can i have a ride on her when im there on my hols
