Thank you to you all!!!!!

Had the most fantastic day (although my nose is still tingling from the freeeeezing weather). :b

Louie did me proud. He really took to the lure (after the initial 'where's my mummy?' - the temptation proved too much to chase!). Louie really seemed to enjoy it by doing what he does best - apart from bringing happiness into our family!!!

Thank you    to Northern, & everybody else who replied to my thread, for all the encouragement & support, & thank you Carol for spending time to explain things to me today - there's soooo much to learn, but all very interesting & exciting.

What a lovely, lovely activity to get into for all the family. :)

Im raring to go for next week, which im sure that goes for Louie too!

Carol, Neve did an absolutely terrific job entertaining Aimee, please thank her lots from me!

Thanks again guys!!! No wonder you're all so passionate about this. Bring on next Sunday!!! :D

So glad you enjoyed it Julie, it's the best pastime ever! Seeing the dogs enjoying themselves so much is a joy. The Northern is a brilliant club, and they will soon have you involved and you will wonder what you did before you went racing. Just beware you don't end up with a houseful like the rest of us  They are addictive in the nicest possible way :huggles:

(w00t) i knew you would enjoy your day

and what a top class club to be under instruction from  they will soon have you talking like a native in racing terms

wont be long and your have your name down for a "race bred" pup to keep Louie company track side :- "

be warned :nuke: :nuke: racing is addictive  i thought i needed my head testing this morning when i was on my way to the track......sheets of rain, window wipers on full blast, and freezing cold   but wouldnt want to be anywhere else on a sunday ;) keep us upto date on how you both get on  and im sure Trish will capture Louie on camera one day

Okay now I'm confused  I thought that you went lure coursing Julie not racing.

Glad that you and Louie enjoyed your day. I'm sure that Hannah would agree with me that lure coursing is great fun it's her preferred dog sport. For me the racing gets in the way of lure coursing these days and lure coursing has taken a back seat with us recently. It's great seeing our dogs really stretching out focused on a lure isn't it.

i did have my camera at the ready but the silly thing just wouldnt focus, kept getting a error message, might have been just too cold if thats possible for a camera cause it seemed fine when we got home in the warmth
