how unlucky for this to happen just before the bend champs and blaze was running great....hope she makes a speedy recovery

Hello all :huggles:

We just wanted to thank every person that has left a message and expressed their concerns and best wishes for Blaze following her accident.

Blaze is making the best use of three legs at the moment, I changed the dressing earlier today and the stitching looks fantastic. Plenty of bruising from shoulder to wrist so I'm using green oils to help with that. She's in and out the porta-mag to help with the healing (the thing is great but since I've had it I've done nothing but use it  ).

Her foot is a little puffy so keeping an eye on that too, plenty of Witchazel for soothing :b .

I'll keep you all updated :teehee: .

sorry blaze is injured elise, hope she is ok by bend champs.

Hi,

Just wondering if Blaze was feeling any better today? Have been thinking about her lots

Tracy

I haven't seen Blaze since 8:30am when I left her curled up on the sofa under a blanket so I'll let you know later TC :huggles: .

Realised you are probably at work, but would love an update later just to know that she's ok and hopefully a lot perkier

Another hard day at the office :- " .

Blaze's foot is swollen we have tried Ice to calm it down but there doesn't seem to be any difference, she is now wearing a plaster as opposed to bandage in the hopes of helping the foot.

This morning she was experimenting in putting the foot to the floor so that must be a good thing, after a few tentative steps here and there she still decided that it was quicker to get around on three legs  .

Almost ate a pup again yesterday though for jumping on her leg  .

Poor Blaze :( Lets hope that it's a good sign that she is at least trying to put weight on it, even if she chickens out and goes for the easy option :- "

Will be thinking of her

Tracy

p.s. Excuse the ignorance, but what is a porta-mag :b

porta mag is a magnetic therapy box,for treatment of injuries,i think they are best when treating bone injuries, and for after race relaxation,i dont think they are too good at treating muscle injuries, best thing for muscles i think is ultra sound laser therapy, and plenty rest.

Ouch! Poor Blaze, hope she is feeling much better soon :huggles:
