Rember The Blue Boy That Was With Poppy !

Damm and Blast these people.

Anyone wanna go after this boy? Pete would put his foot down on me keeping another but would be very happy to foster?.

boo hes not for sale hes for stud ,i wish id had enough to get him wen i got poppy as they were selling him then :(

Poor little chap. :( :(

There is a previous ad dated in June (on page 4 I think) with the same photo saying he is 7 years old and bred 6 litters!!!

I would not be able to have another whippet (would love a blue though) but I think OH would probably walk out. I could assist with transport or getting him out of that awful place if that is any help.

The add does say 'free', so it's not very clear if he is for stud or rehome. I wondered if they would part with him if money was mentioned.

Sorry hun, I read it too quick Duh silly me, forgot that dogs don't outlive their 'usefulness' as quickly as bitches :( :(

i know this is probabily a silly question, but are you sure its the same boy?

i only ask as i dont remember him having such a white mask, maybe its the flash on the camera or maybe he did and i have forgotten

i read it as free (for sale) not stud, a little confussing the add its not clear at all, but if it was stud surely it would have a price not free

its sad that its come up again, and worrying about the little black and white one in the pic :(

I think Katie that stud ads usually come up as free for some reason, no idea why but I expect someone does.

Oh crap, this is horrible brings out how many irresponsible people there are out there, and that little black and white's face is so innocent...and so like Blue :(

It does say "Stud" at the top of the ad, above the photo :(

Is that the same place as where Poppy was?

The only problem is that some wonderful person will rescue the blue boy and people like this just manage to 'acquire' another poor soul and it starts all over again - not to mention the little black and white whippy in the background. It's criminal that the animal safety laws in this country are so ineffectual. Pity the MP's can't get their hands out of the till and do something worthwhile like sorting them out. I feel so sad and so bloody frustrated.

ffsk i must stop looking at these sights anybody looking for a whippet bitch ,this poor love had her first litter before she was even 20mths old :( http://www.epupz.co.uk/clas/viewdetails.asp?view=270882
The trouble is, Nicky, that we can't rescue every dog, and looking at these sites makes one feel so sad and helpless. :( :( There are so many scumbags in this world looking to make money out of these poor dogs.

I often look at the Many Tears site, and the number of dogs on there is heartbreaking. Many have been used as breeding machines. :( :( I do despair at times at the so-called 'human race'.

Hi Nicky

I saw the poor little ePupz bitch on the website this morning too. I wanted to go straight down the motorway and 'Save' her. It breaks your heart. How can people do things like this? It is pure greed and ignorance.

Sarah is right, we cannot help them all. The blue boy's owner would just get another dog and treat it the same way. I rarely look at ePupz and Preloved these days, it is just too painful. :(

I hope that Poppy is having a better day. Enjoy your cuddles with her and the others and think of the ones that you have helped. :huggles:

your totaly right nicky, i guess its just my memory, or part fact i was hoping it wasnt him and he had found a happy home :(

i saw the little girl on epupz today to, she looks gorgeous but OH just wouldnt go for it :(

hope someone gets her soon :luck:

It is really, really sad but all she would do is use the money from this to buy another poor bitch and breed from her while she was still a baby :(

Do you think she just breeds them once to get the KC reg and then can't be bothered to feed her for two years before she can do it again?

regarding the blue dog, it looks clear to me that he is at stud not offered for sale. I don't know what the story was with Poppy (an advertised "breeding pair" ??) and whether or not the same person has owned this dog for several years. Is there any reason to believe the dog isn't well cared for? (this is quite apart from the issue of people breeding too frequently and putting dogs up for stud for financial reasons without making sure that the owners of the bitches are breeding responsibly -- again, I have no knowledge of whether or not this applies to the owner of the blue dog, though I often have suspicions of people who advertise their dogs at stud.)
