So so chuffed June :huggles: He's such a lovely boy, but a mischeivious little monkey - He totally rules the roost (w00t)

Am looking forward to seeing your Smidgie this summer - how's he getting on?

Naomi, he's doing really well. He is 7 months, he's coming out of a trap and we hand-slipped him with another dog last week. We are concious not to do too much with him at his age, but also wary of the fact that we finish club racing at Gloucester at the beginning of April - so we've only been doing 50 yd runs. I am happy that he will pass his clearing trials without any problems, so not so hurried to rush him on now. We might still have the odd meet at Gloucester, so we should have him cleared in time to enter him in the 2nd Champs

I've just compared Ritchie's weight to Smidge at the same age, and Smidge was 14lb at 16 weeks - so looks like your boy will be around 26-28lbs???? ish??? Smidge has been 22lb for the last couple of weeks, but he's a bit of a porker  It's nice having a pup who will eat anything you put in front of him - every pup I've had over the last 10 years has been a picky eater :(

Glad Ritchie is running you ragged  we know how you feel :sweating: Looking forward to meeting him in the flesh when we come up in May :huggles:

That's great that Smidge is doing so well June - he's going to a very experienced & confident boy by the time he gets his passport sorted :huggles: Just ready for that 2nd Champs too!

As for Richie's weight - we thought 26-28lb too - he was just under 14lb at 13 weeks so that'd be about right. As for picky eating.... he's like a vacuum cleaner - the food doesnt even touch his teeth (w00t) Where as Maddie & Olive are the complete opposite

Anyway, it'l be great to see you & Smidge in May - I'll look forward to it
