I cant remember seeing any RR s when i went to the Swedish SIGHTHOUND show .at Tammsvik :- "

If I could find my catologue I could confirm that, but I'm pretty sure they arent sight hounds . they don't look built to run at high speed or for long periods as a sight hound would ( either , not both)

But they may be in a different group under FCI rules. We just have the Hound Group under KC rules but FCI split them into Sight and Scent hounds because of the larger number of breeds that are classified and seen in Europe.

i use to own a ridgeback in the 90's beautiful dog so loving and very protective unfortunately she died of heart problems at only 6 yrs old

noone said they did. :blink:

as a previous post stated they were used to track them and keep them at bay till the hunter arrived to despatch them. :thumbsup:
