Early every morning we are out walking in an RSPB 1000 acre nature reserve with the dogs.

Got a bit of a surprise today :- " as came across this :wacko:

Any idea's as to what it is ?

Not poisonous....and in eastern europe the young unopened ones are sometimes sliced and eaten in salads. Has a pungent smell too... :b

I have quite a fascination for fungi....dont laugh... :lol:
