Rumours

How wonderful to see the old winter game back on here "WIND UP " not one Waddingtons have adopted as yet thank goodness ---it might be soon---

aimed mainly for those with learning problems --plus those who never learn

I think ---"WIND UP" should be a new competition with points like Top Ten with predictions as to who could WIN!!!!!

Surely all this garbage can not help whippet racing in any shape or form ---

no wonder its on its uppers -

Before any comments about it not bothering me as i dont travel anymore

it does

I have had some great times over the 50 plus years of running dogs and i happen to think it can be a great family sport if run correctly

For this reason i have kept Lancaster WRC going since Steve and Julie called time on it --

We all know why they finished dont we -----but never seem to learn--

SCHOOL PLAYGROUND __________________suitable for 4-6 year olds --WIND UP --

The game will be at the top of Santa's List this year

I would like to catergorically state that I was informed about this rumour by a telephone call made to me, and it wasn't friggsy who phoned me.

I know for a fact that ragnoli is insinuating on 2 face book that I'm behind this scare mongering.

I think its time for the person/s who started this rumour to come forward and confess.

ps. I don't have any issues or qualms with either organisation, thats why I pay my membership to them.

Totally agree! Laughable that someone recons they've got the balls to take on the BWRA yet when the shit hits the fan they're quite happy denying and letting the buck stop with others.

Not sure what they expected from gossiping but ultimately they put people in a position which they simply couldn't ignore.

Yesterday I sent a pm to Ray asking what all of this was about.We now know that Ray told Mark/Vicky about the petition even saying that there were 76 signatures on it.Being a member of the BWRA I felt well within my rights to ask a fellow in the know member about the petition hence the pm.However even though Ray (Friggsy) has been on K9 today,he has intentionally, or not,avoided replying to my pm.I also know that when sent a pm from Yvonne asking much the same as me,Rays reply was that he knew nothing about it.

I am now asking you publicly Ray as a fellow BWRA member,what the petition is all about?If there is a petion to get rid of the commitee of the BWRA,then as a member I want to know about it.I 100% trust Mark and Vicky's words that you informed them of the petition,that does not mean that I believe you have started the petition.Please take the time to answer my question on here.I will be asking you in person the next race meet we are at if you don't.

why is everybody getting at Ray all he did was ask if i had heard owt,and i said no,Ray did state that he did not start this and i didnt ask who did,

i would like to add all this these post are causing more damage to the sport than any petion would have done

How can asking a perfectly reasonable question,do harm to the sport Mark?I haven't stated anything other than facts I have been told.Surely it does more harm to the sport to broadcast that there is a petition going round to get rid of a commitee or organisation,and if not harm to the sport,then the chance of hurting the feelings of a commitee who have worked hard for all it's members.I haven't had a go at Ray,i've asked a question (and I will not retract it).If as some people think there is no petition,then why would he tell somebody there is ? :wacko: .You are well within your rights to think I am doing harm to the sport.I however don't.

That would mean everyone of us should know someone who's signed it & everyone I've spoke to doesn't know anyone ? I reckon it's idle gossip !!

dunno if any of you lot know this but no petitiion is worth the paper its written on if theres no adresses on it,names only dont count for jack! :thumbsup:
 
i think this shuld be removed from site its obviously bull shit and is doing our sport no favours

Don't think this topic hurts our sport at all Gaz.By all means ask for any abusive posts to be removed.Think this topic shows that we whippet folk are quite open for a healthy debate (given the chance :wacko: )But believe this topic should be left up for future reference to any member as to the right and wrong way to go about airing a grievence :thumbsup:

All people opinions are diffrent .. personally i find the topic trashy tbh

We could always get Carole to make a poll to see lol
