Fantastic!!!

Am a geek - what camera did you use?

the camera is casio exilim ex fh-20 takes slow motion video and 40 still pics a second at 7mp res

they were expensive but jessops has it on half price offer £199 well worth it

those whippets of sammys are very keen sammy had to re-tie the lure together after they had finished with it

thanks for the video of the whippets it was brill to watch well done lana looks well fit looks like u will be getting a new job as offical photograher for the sporting whippets lol

Jesus man--think u pulled the lure a bit Toooooooo close to the machine, youd be sacked at our track  lucky that dogs no injured.!

 well done Bro it will be intersting to see some of the fourth coming races done with you cam

Brilliant Trevor thats really clever (sorry thats not meant to be a ryhme :b )

Yeah dogs far too close to the lure machine

But fantastic camera - may have to look at getting myself one of those

Footage is briiliant.. well done. BUT I will say that the lure training was very dangerous.. who was running the lure? or is there a fault with it? Not meaning to be a party pooper but that lure should of been stopped well before the machine.. car.. or any obstacle they could bang into..

I put a blanket over the line a way way before the machine.. in fact, I have another little wheel sunk into the ground away from everything and the line goes around this. An Irish design if I remember correctly.. :-

The lure operator needs more training..

Hope you don't mind me saying this.. Just wouldn't want to hear of your Whippets getting injured.. :)

Are they pure bred whippets?

Look forward to more of your shots Trevor.. ;)

Great slow motion footage, amazing how much their back stretches & contracts when running.

We usually film our lurchers doing the agility & then watch it back in slo mo. They really are super athletes, the suspension in their legs is brilliant & watching them change direction in the air whilst clearing a 2ft jump is fantastic. If I had a clue how to do it I'd show you on here but i'm clueless when it comes to stuff like that :b

the two whippets are mine the fawn one is nmike browns breeding the white one is a wee bitch we bought fot £100 and she has done well for us in the fielsd and the track but is begining to slow a bit the second video clip with lanaha is trvs wee dog and is also doing well reguarding the lure I was out a walk and bumped in to trev and co the dogs should have been muzzled if u look at it again there was a turn wheel which shoots the dogs on straight the drag was dead on the ground but the white dog picked up the drag and jumped the lure followed by the second dog reguarding the rug idea which we use on race days we now tie a wee bit of bungie between the drag and string it stops the lure string from breaking when the drag hits the rug

I wouldn't run any dog of mine to that lure, and certainly wouldn't put vids of my dogs hitting the lure machine, up on here.

Cheers.
