Ha!! If you call them 'encouraging whispers' I'd hate to hear what you sound like when you are being competitve  :- "

Monty was simply just slightly concerned about the amount of distance that was between him and me at the time, and a wee bit worried that if he jumped over the bales people would only get a fleeting glimpse of him, he'd of been happier if he could have stood on top of them so all could admire his beauty and macho-ness :D

Oh yeah, the screaming banshee next to me didn't help his concentration :p :teehee: (w00t)

And I'll have you know that I am the least scary person I know o:) :*

Me.....competitive....never (w00t) 8) :- "

Bless Monty and his machoness, he did a good job of posing on the bales during his practice

I think I might have found something for Sparky to do, he would be brilliant at jumping bales of straw. The dining room table he can manage in a pop over, and he already does triple jumps i.e settee, coffee table and armchair. I'm off to the farm shop for some bales,

Great pictures Tracy, that bale jumping looks like real good fun. Always great to see whippies enjoying themselves (almost as much as the owners :D )

We are destined never to meet then  :(
He might see you at the odd open show, or a Whippet Club show where there are R&C Classes, so never say never :luck:

He is a babe, but you'll know if he's there as the noise is pretty horrendous when I leave him in a crate (w00t) 8) :b

Winx just wanted to let Rachel know he will be at South Yorkshire Whippet Club on the 7th and then he's going to Midland Whippet Club as well, so hopes you are there :*

Winx - I am going to both!!! :huggles:

They also went to the Total Lurcher show recently, and got these pics from one of the rounds of the Puppy Hurdles.

Ruso was running with Monty the Magnificent.....

Jumping the bale that was obviously 6 times higher in Ruso's brain than it looks in the picture  (w00t)     I don't know what possessed him to jump that high, but I'm just relieved he landed without going head over heels or hurting himself  :sweating:

I think poor Monty was in shock from seeing me screaming at the finish line.....I get a bit excited  :b

Thanks for looking, and many, many thanks to Sharon for sending me the pics

Love the one of Rusco with his legs in the air, he is really enjoying himself!!
