evening all,

Nick here carolines OH, I sit here with bleary ayes as it sinks in that lil Bluer has just been PTS. She had her dinner as normal at 6 was happily bimbling about in her old way, about 8 we found her in the kitchen standing with her head in the bed blanket totally bewildered, so I got her into the living room and bedded her down on the bean-bag and watched as she got slowly worse before my eyes, 9.45 we were at the vets, she could no longer stand unaided and she wasnt there behind her eyes. It was the hardest yet kindest thign I have ever had to do sign my name on that bit of white paper, and I held her little head as the light behind her eyes just drifted out, I hope she knows just how much she meant to me as we had been a partnership since 1993 when I got her as a 2-3year old pup (bloke wasnt sure), we've done it all from being homeless living in cars to driving all over the country for a living and she took it all in her stride as if it was just how it was...

In her later years she was a cantancerous old sod who would give the dead eye out just for fun and her hearing had gone but she was still the same little grey fluffer under it all..

so anyways I got a brace of beers lined up as I sit here with her collar and tonight I shall be toasting blu, I would appreciate if you religious types would spare a prayer for a little 17 yr old beddy/collie cross tonight as well !

:( Sorry this time has come but it comes to us all and you know that you have done the right thing, it's better to loose a dog then to let it live in pain, believe me i have been there and you will never forget the dog in your life that meant so much to you. :( TIME IS A GREAT HEALER. ;) Diane.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. We're in our thoughts at this sad time.
