We went to see my friends saluki puppies and wow how much they've grown they are now just over 5 weeks old. We took them outside and let them play in the garden as it was a lovely day although a bit cool . I took a few photos of them but they were hard to get decent photos of them as they were running all over the place

Then it was time for tea

Then they all went to sleep

Hopefully we will see them again before they go of to their new homes

Oh they are just lovely.  I really fancied having a Saluki, but whippet size is better. I adore them though. :huggles: Best wishes to them all for lovely happy futures.

Lovely little pups

Wow loverly babies.

They are not what I would have imagined a Saluki pup to look like.

Thanks for posting them.

At the moment they look like cocker spaniel puppies .When they were first born they looked very much like whippet pups but you can now see the hair on their ears is beggining to get longer. They are much bigger than I expected but I have not seen them since they were 1 day old as they live about an hour away from me

Well without intention of being disrespectful, that was my thought.

They don't actually get the feathering until they are older but they are saluki's no disrespect taken Tracey it was the first thing I said to my friend when I saw them

They are lovely I've never seen saluki babies before

That's exactly what I thought! Lovely pups  - can't wait to see photos of them at 8 or 10 weeks, bet they are starting to look a bit more like salukis by then

they are just so cute, funny how some breeds look like others when they're first born.

First pics I saw of whippet babies they looked like little staffy pups....I thought they'd be born skinny with long legs :- " :b

I remember 'phoning Becca from k9 and asking her how would I know I'd be buying a proper whippet ! (w00t)

They are gorgeous   I thought they looked like spaniel pups as well a bit :- " I love Saluki's they are so elegant looking :huggles:

I love salukis too  maybe one day..... :- " o:)

I too thought look like cockers! Very cute though  never seen saluki pups that age . Will be interesting to see piccies when older

oohhhh how beautiful are they, i would love a saluki :huggles:

oh gosh n darn it ive got beau now so cant be tempted...but ..oooooh

Beccy they're all spoken for but either the grey grizzle bitch thats the one that has a silver colour on the left in the last photo or the big dark dog will be staying with mum and aunty so I will be able to keep in touch with them
