Scoobs & Em & the pack.!

;) so pleased it all looking good for Ted Scooby, have a fantastic Xmas and a continued strong recovery for our Ted

Hi Troops, this be the last update on wee Ted, went to the vet today for his last X-ray--And the Vet is absolutely delighted wif this wee chaps progress, it was an absolutely clean break-about 2 1/2" up from the wrist, the main bone is roughly 96% perfectly knitted, whilst the wee thin bone that runs down parallel wif the main is 100% solidly knitted, theres no way we could ever see where the break was when the vet asked us, he could"nt even see where it had been on a very clear X-ray, so asking the vet when he"l run again-- Hanze said within 4 months, so runnin out to tell Emma he"l run within 4 months--I had to go back in and get an X-ray on my JAW, Dont know if he"l race again troops, am leavin that to Emma-its her boy and we both love him to bits whatever the outcome, Emmas scared he gets hurted again--I know he loves to run :- :- :- Many Many thanks again to everyone and especially to Donna who got him to a vets within minutes of the break---Think thats how its been an AWESOME recovery.! Cheers Scoobs & Em & Mega Thanks fae Wee Ted aka (Your Next)

That's fantastic news (w00t) thanks for the update and good luck for the future with Ted  Julie

thats brilliant news :D im sure you are over the moon ;)

fingers crossed we see him back racing, cant keep a good dog down ;)

Brilliant news Scoobs and Emma :D The good thing about a well healed broken leg when the bone is callused over, is that it is often stronger than it was in the first place :p I'm sure I would be hesitant to run ours again if a similar thing happened, but they do love to run, and many dogs do come back after a broken leg to do very well. Good luck whatever you decide, and we look forward to seeing you cross the border next year - and we will be up to visit you up there again too

Great news :D I know what you mean about racing him, I'd probably be the same but lots of dogs do come back from a broken leg. Main thing for now is that he can lead a normal life again.

:D :D That's brilliant news about wee Ted's recovery you must be chuffed to bits, but Scooby i understand the code when you said " get your Jaw X-rayed " you really meant lower down enough said pmsl :D :D

Good luck what ever you decide i know that it is of topic but our son has just come back from a double bone clean break ( got it playing against Rangers at Murray Park last year ) and he has no problems at all his pin is still in his leg.

All the best WEE TED
