Why scrap the Supreme run off, :eek: i speak for my self on this one but i like to see how my dog can do against the other weight groups other wise i would be traveling for just one race, (w00t) probably won't bother if they decide to go that way.(or I'll just have to get a yrd per pound dog) :lol:

I don't mind racing Leia against any size dog on the bends but i hope the dogs are seeded properly or it's a accident waiting to happen in opinion. :thumbsup: ( I love the name Black Pearl, wish I'd thought of it). ;) di

seeding is a joke,...nearly everybody in no limit just seeds inside, when you look at most of the pictures posted on here you can see that most of the inside seeded dogs are not hugging the rail on the last bend... when a true inside seeded dog hugs the rail tight.... mind you its a good way to mess the race up for a true inside dog....thats for sure...... it has being brought to attention for both governing bodies, but nothing gets done about it.. even when its there to see. from the pictures of most bend meetings...

Maurice dogs are seeded from traps not the last bend dogs move in and out to pass when bend racing

if all inside dogs hugged the rail all the way round they would finnish in a line up each others arses
 
that is rubbish, and i have never seen anyone from comitte stand behind the traps to police this matter properly.. but what i have seen is a so called railer lead until the last bend, only to go out wide and let a true railer through on the inside.. i have looked carefully at all the dogs mine races against and as far as i can conclude there are 3 true railers in total...and you cant judge a dog for a third of the race , i have spoke to some very good greyhound racers on this issue, and i know what i am talking about..

your not likely to see anyone if your not there Maurice maybe your getting our meetings mixed up with the greyhound meetings because you were only at 2 of ours last year we too have discussed seeding with the greyhound handicappers NGRC and flapping and apparently seeding inside and extreme inside is a deff no no

anyway this is off topic maybe start a fresh topic or dig out the old one if you must
 
well linda, i have not raced at a greyhound meeting in 18months. and for every ones information, i only attended 8 greyhound meetings, as i was advised to when my dog was just out of yearlings, to give him some experience....and regarding how many bend meetings i attend, well if you check the last 13 or so years you will find that i did most of them, but early march last year my dog damaged his wrist, and it has troubled him since on and off..thats why i have not attended many meetings,.. and greyhounds can only seed wide, but there are still railers..% wise , a lot less than in the none ped sc no limit...its a joke...a decade ago in none ped, it was rare to see dogs seeded inside, i did not seed uptown girl inside...but now its , lets seed inside we might stand a better chance, and thats that..

Thats because its only been the past few years the NNWRF allowed inside seeding ..it used to be only out side seeding from what i recall

I TOTALY AGREE WITH WHAT YOU ARE SAYING AND IF THINGS GETS CHANGED AGAIN IF IM RIGHT IN THINKING ITS A PROPOSAL YEAR THATS EVEN BETTER IM SURE COMMONSENCE WILL PREVAIL IN THE END AND WE CAN MOVE FORWARD IN THE SPORT WE ALL LOVE.

LIKE IVE SAID RULES R RULES AND WE SHOULD ALL STICK TO THEM BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE TO AGREE WITH THEM.

wot tf has seeding got to do with this topic theres enough trouble in the scratch without more jesus some are never happy pleased i race proper whippets opps only jokin :wacko: im starting to wonder if john gill is right get on with racing :unsure: if i had a wish id wish it was like it used to be without all this rule change its a joke :angry:
