Was that when whippets were 'whippets' and greyhounds were 'greyhounds' - o bugger ok rifles being loaded, im ready for the firing squad (w00t) (w00t) but then most people know i love whippets and greyhounds but do believe there should be a line drawn somewhere between the two :unsure: :thumbsup:

silly reply or not it's true mr bailey,all the arguments on here involve scratch dogs just trawl back through the posts and have a look mr bailey.

iam entitled to my opinion yd/lb racing was here long before scr,

I dont mind any size dogs running i just dont think the straights or long enough for the bigger ones as they just get going and its time to stop it scares me s**tless to watch some of the scratch dogs finish a race and go in at the lure :sweating:

my opinion is that all dog within the amnesty should be allowed to reg and run any dog outside the date that go over the weight should get there money unless the cap is voted out this year lol

Don’t think I am been funny but I have heard the dog is on the very large size of 70lb plus

In all honesty if it is as big as some are saying then you have to take into consideration our smaller no limits that will be racing against it and the safety aspect of them...

LAST TIME IT RACED I THINK IT WAS 68LB

another suggestion that was raised on this issue at the reps meeting was to re- introduce the no limit class to accommodate the dogs that fall in with the amnesty but exceed 55lbs and as the size of some of these dogs ws a concern in regards to safety scrap the SUPREME RUN OFF

Why scrap the Supreme run off, i speak for my self on this one but i like to see how my dog can do against the other weight groups other wise i would be traveling for just one race, (w00t) probably won't bother if they decide to go that way.(or I'll just have to get a yrd per pound dog) :lol:

it one of a few suggestions put forward another one being

to have a no limit class as additional racing( the way it was years back) winner take all , to accommodate the dogs affected by this rule

seeding is a joke,...nearly everybody in no limit just seeds inside, when you look at most of the pictures posted on here you can see that most of the inside seeded dogs are not hugging the rail on the last bend... when a true inside seeded dog hugs the rail tight.... mind you its a good way to mess the race up for a true inside dog....thats for sure...... it has being brought to attention for both governing bodies, but nothing gets done about it.. even when its there to see. from the pictures of most bend meetings...
