Faith's beloved lurcher Scratch has got to have her hind leg amputated tomorrow (Friday) following an accident.

Please could everybody wish Scratch lots of luck, and a speedy recovery. :huggles:

and let faith know that we are thinking of her. She is obviously very distraught.

I'm certain that your precious little Scratch will be absolutely fine. Rest assured that when the opporation is over, she will be free from all the dreadful pain... and therefore a lot happier for it

I know that it is such a hard time to cope with, and extremely difficult to find the strength to get through it. But please know that we are all here for you through it all :huggles: All you need to do it ask.

Best of luck to your special little girl :luck: she'll be just fine, try not to worry too much; although I know it's easier said than done. Ring us at any time of the day or night if you need to talk about anything

Faith, sending lots of love to you and Scratch for the op today :huggles: We are away this weekend, but looking forward to reading an update when we get home. Scratch will be so much better without the pain of that nasty old leg - dogs are miraculous at recovering from this type of operation, and I'm betting you will suffer a great deal more than Scratch will
