Sorry dont know why you all got that twice but I tried to send more photos and thats what happened!!!jaques said:Well, the story is that we contacted Passion Levriers here in France a couple of months ago when we first started looking, and last week a lady fron Strasbourg contacted us to say they had a small boy about 130 km from us (which is quite near when you think how big France is). He is 15 months old and had beensent to the SPA (thats the French equivalent of RSPCA) when he was quite young. Last August a woman adopted him but she couldn't find a job,so she decided to go in the Army!!!! So poor Whisky was sent to her grandparents who had a big dog who bullied him and would not let him eat.As a concequence he is 2.5 kilos underweight and scared to eat. What happened to him the first year of his life nobody knows. Anyway the lady over the road from the grandparents has 6 whippets and is a member of the whippet rescue and she could see what was going on and asked if she could take him and we have him now ---- for life. he is so insecure and sometimes looks so sad it breaks your heart. Our old lurcher is such a kind soul and has taken him under his wing and lets him eat from his own bowl if he wants , and lets Whisky run rings round him!!We have only had him for 4 days and they sleep together, that is , if Whisky doesn't want to sleep in bed with us!!!
