My very lazy boy takes some encouragement to go out for his last night wee's .... sometimes I have to even say the C word to get him to move!

But how is it, he knows that I am getting milk out of the fridge?? or getting the cheese grater out of the cupboard!!?? (cheese is his favourite)

Sometimes I play a game with myself (I know I need to get out more) and see if I can get these items without him knowing. Always fail!!

Does anyone else have something like this?

Jimmy's usually keen to go out, so no issues there, but he associates the sound of wrappers with food, so if there's anything making a noise in the house that sounds remotely like a food wrapper (could even be the scrunching of a poo bag!), and he's there. Sometimes if I want a sneaky evening snack that's in a wrapper - which most things are - I have to be very quiet, but he usually hears me, comes bounding into the kitchen and puts his cute face on. Sometimes I'll give him a treat, sometimes I won't :D We also use it to our advantage, so if we want him to go to a particular room in the house, we just scrunch a wrapper :D

Also, he knows which cupboard his foods and treats are in, and it's on floor level, so if we're in there getting something, he sticks his head in and gets all jumpy and excitable :)

Jasper can be apparently sound asleep at the other end of the house while we eat, but the moment we put our forks down, he's there, ready to pre-wash the plates and pans.

They are so funny! We get played big time. :D:D
