WE'VE FINALLY GOT HER!!

We brought her home yesterday, and she has settled in very well. No overnight accidents, asked to be let out this morning by standing at the door, took her for a long walk to schol this morning, she needs a bit of training not to pull, but is otherwise a joy!

She came bounding up the stairs this morning and jumped on the bed, licking my face!!

Will put on more pics soon.

We've named her Saffy, I was outvoted as i wanted poppy!

Right now, she's curled up in her new cosy bed.

I'm so glad that you have gone for a rescue - they are wonderful dogs who deserve a 2nd chance. It doesn't sound as though I need to say that though - you seem to love her to bits already!! Well done and enjoy every minute of her!

I want to name ours Saffy Too!!!! although she is 1 year old... I think she will get used to this new name as it is similar to her name now!

It really warms my heart to hear about all of you rehoming rescued dogs. GOOD LUCK! They are worth it. I know. have had a rescued Whippet for 4 years, she is now 11. And started fostering two old ladies for the rescue two weeks ago. Now got 7 Whippets, 3 of whom are rescued. Loads of love and good care is rewarded by seeing improvement in health, condition,and reduction in stress. The love and attatchment they give back is incredible.
